Vikings used necklaces with animals or beasts biting onto a ring where pendants were hung. This variant consists of a King Chain ending in the heads of Geri and Freki, the wolves of Odin, that bite onto a ring with a large Mjölnir pendant with the one-eyed mask of Odin and the Ægishjálmur symbol. As the name implies, this is the king of all chains and it was seen as a sign of success and power among the Vikings. Our King Chain is 100% handmade from Stainless Steel, which results in a piece of fantastic jewelry that will never rust. The process of crafting it by hand is very time-consuming, since each small link is added one by one to the chain. The chain comes with a lobster clasp that keeps this massive piece secured around your neck, as well as a pendant ring that can be opened and closed easily.

Geri and Freki (Old Norse both meaning "the ravenous" or "greedy one") are two wolves which accompanied the Norse god Odin.

Mjölnir (English: Crusher), is the hammer of Thor, the Norse God of Thunder. An amulet depicting Mjölnir is known as a “Thor’s Hammer” and it was worn by the Vikings as an amulet of protection and power.

Ægishjálmur (Old Norse: helm of awe/helm of terror) is mentioned in the old sagas, such as in the Völsunga Saga, where the dragon Fafnir wears one between his eyes. Scenes from the Völsunga Saga are depicted on a rune stone in Uppland Sweden that is dated to around the year 1000.
